About the Musician
Andrew Avner is a multi-talented creative—an award-winning filmmaker and author—who has also been writing, performing, and recording music since childhood. A guitarist and vocalist from age six, he’s fronted multiple indie bands in Los Angeles and New York, headlining at CBGBs before its iconic closure. Proficient in guitar, drums, bass, and percussion, Avner has written over 100 original songs and released several independent projects. His passion for music remains strong, though now it’s a deeply personal creative outlet. His debut solo single, You Once Meant Something (2025 Mix), is available now on all major streaming platforms.
